Steering Wheel

Hi, first post here, so I hope I include everything I need.

Yesterday I took off the plastic that covers the centre console in my 1999 Corsa B; as one of the lights had gone.
After a lot of hassle and actually getting it off, I dropped the broken bulb, and can't find it; so I can't take it to a shop to get another one.

Anyway, That's a minor problem; now there appears to be no power to any of the lights in the centre console, apart from the radio and the MFD at the top.
The biggest problem, is that now the steering appears to not work, in fact, I can barely move the steering wheel 1cm in either direction.

I have no idea what I've done wrong? Has a wire maybe just come loose? Or could it be more serious?

Thanks for the help.

I've just gone back into it, taken off the centre console cover again.
Can't see anything wrong, it all looks connected.
When I first went into the car the battery sign was on, now when I start it none of the dials; petrol, revs, speedo work.
I'm not sure what could've gone wrong?!? I'm really worried.

check again for any lose wires and checkyour fuses, try restting the ecu. as for the steering has it got power steering and have you accedently put the steering lock on?

Thanks for the reply.
I changed the fuse, and everything seems to be working.

One other thing, where do I buy replacement bulbs for the centre console?
I've seen a couple of shops online, but i'd like to go to a proper shop and get them ASAP.
