Radio decoding and fitting new headunit.

Hi all,
Thanks for the responces to the other posts.

Got my new headunit but the orginal radio is in safe mode (needs decoding) so i am now woundering if i have to get it decoded before i fit my new headunit or is it ok to fit my new head unit?

Yeah, it's only the head unit which is coded, not your car.

Where can i run the RCA cables in the dash boad for the headunit to amp in the boot?

right this is what i did take the cables left out the back of the head unit, aroound the back of the self and down behind the kicker pannel (next to the front of the door). then along the bit of plastic trim at the bottom of the doors, you will have to see a little bit of the cable next the the back seat unless you wanna run it under the carpet, then loop the spare wire under the back seat and pop it out thoruogh the back of the seat and connect up :)
OFFICAL DVLA DATA:
1414 - corsa gsi's on the road in 2008.
735 - corsa gsi's currently on the road and 436 SORN
Basicly you would have to be a right tw*t to break one for parts :rant:
