apart from thre other prob im having (see earlier post) when the engine is warm i get a rattle/tap from the top end of the engine, its only noisy on idle, if i rev the engine the noise goes, strange because from cold u cant hear it then it creeps in as it warms up, sounds like a cam chain but could be wrong, whats puzzling is it goes when i rev the engine, any ideas??

change the oil and see if it makes a diffrence
if it does, its likely to be the hydraulic lifters or tappets

if not it could be the chain altho this would normaly rattlle at any revs
