black trim???

alright long time since i last posted but i need some help/tips from the ppl who know the most :D right ive got a 1.0 12valve corsa sting in the metallic leaf green, i love my car only problem is that the tim is turning to a grey colour and i hate it!!!! ive tried the back to black sprays but nothing.... any advise other than sprayin em black lol i've heard smooth penut butter works??? :S any advise would be cool thanks pps!!! :D

Best thing I found was Hammerite satin black paint. Just wash the bumpers and spray it on. Stays there for months and months.

just the black trim at the top of my bumpers because the bumpers are already colour coded

Sorry the trim. I was thinking of my own bumpers which are not colour coded. Same difference. :)

lol no worries but im trying to avoid the whole spray paint thing ive been told by my drvin instructor ex vauxhall dealer to heat them up with a heat gun and then they'll stay black hes done it before and its always worked for him

try another make or brand/type of back to black and dont get the spray its crap.

just cos one make dont work dont mean all the hundereds of other ones wont.

if all else fails try peanut butter

i find simonitz back to black or turtle wax back in a flash sprays to work brilliant,altho if it rains it will run off,but there cheap enuf so just give em another coat,mine are black as akon when i just sprayed em lol

The satin black route is just as easy as back to black or whatever. The preparation is the same, wash it. Just an easy bit of masking after that.

I use the auooglym one, because nibne started going grey too, and that works fine for me, just give them a rubbing over with it every tie you wash the car :)

thanks guys!!! going to my dads garage tomorrow so i'll route round whats in, he can get loads on the cheap :D ill try costco aswell

baby oil lightly rubed into the plastic works perfect
,sayin that i used cookin oil an that worked to

nope,mines been on there 6 months now still black
