Im saying the air flow meter tbh - i think they're prone 2 go on this engine - mine went anyway. They're like 20 quid form a scrappy so its a pretty gd and cheap place to start.

Hi all ,

This proble seemed to have stopped it self... But a new one has arose... When im driving down the motorway when i hit about 70- 80mph the enigne management light comes on and a loose power untill i back off the throttle then the light goes off and its like nothing happend.. That is untill i hit 70-80mph again??

Also sometimes when i go to start the car it wont start turns over fine but if i go away and come back after trying it starts.??

I persume these are rellated? Any ideas on how i could cure these problems?

Thanks in advance

Thats deffinately the mass air flow meter mate.
Exact same happened to mine, got a new sensor for around £20-30 and sorted it
