Left Side Indicator Lights

Hi All,

I have a problem sometimes when i lock my car

It is central locking .. and locks with a button on remote .. which also sets the alarm .. Its a gemini if i remember correctly.

Onto the problem .. When i lock it ... all of the left hand side indicators will just stay fully on ... both sides flash .. but then the left stays lit fully on, this is a problem as it also kills my battery.

Is it a sign of the battery going .. or a dodgy wire somewhere?

Cheers.

Cheers ... I'll take the negative connection of battery soon .. as i heard that resets all the electrics ? Worth a go

It's weird, because it wont always do it. 1 day it'll be fine, the next i'll have to lock/unlock about 10 times for it to sort itself out and lock with all the lights out

First noticed it about a week ago.

Cheers.

Hi,

Have had the possitive terminal off the battery for a few hours, but this still continues to happen.

Will check to make sure all relevant wires are connected and tight.

In the mornings when i start it up .. it does sound like there isnt as much "charge" in the battery ... but it does start the car. (Any way of checking if the battery is on its way out ? Have put multimetre on it .. and its showing 12V)

Would a battery going keep the light on .. as its trying to pull power? I dont think its an indicator relay problem .. as the indicators dont stick when i use them.

Cheers for help.
