Hey Guys So This is my car

Its a corsa b 2000 1.2
k so was working fine Was Doing it up with a freind got a new battery the Idiot put the battery on the wrong way
So now when i go to start it turns over but wont Fire up
We took out the plugs Pointed them at the block and fired her up no spark (yes i know its dangerous)
So After Lots of inspection Ripping the car out dashboard we found a cat 2 immobilizer We removed that and Relocated the Starter motor and fuel pump Cables They now Work on the turn of a key but still no spark
So Then we thought how are we gonna find the spark plugs... After thinking a little the spark plugs have to go through the ecu Because there timed
We Located the ecu took it apark and I dont smell any burning of any kind And everything looks in place Put ecu back in sent it to the Garage for a diagnostics plug in it returned no Codes :/
What else can i do to test the ecu
Is there any Fuses it would hit before the ecu
Ive checked loads
been 2 months now its rotting away
Alarm pictures can be seen at my flikr account

Remember the immobilizer is no longer in there
Anyone Who helps Thankyou
