hey you lot...

its been ages since i've put a decent post into the site. Christmas has been majorly manic and my head has been up my arse for the best part of the month. Anyways, i managed to find some time and a break in the weather last week to give the cav a wash. no polish but i just wanted to get all the crap off it...and it was grey underneath!










Also, i got some new bits before xmas too! A set of adjustable AVO shocks that have recently been refurbed by AVO. Polybushes on the bottom too



And a new set of lower arms and ball joints...



I've also got a decat in the boot of the car, but no pics of that, and a set of Bilstein B8 rears too which i got for 99p off ebay! they can go on for the meantime until i get the sills and arches sorted and rear bushes...then i can get the decent suspension on there!

Just waiting for a break in the weather and a day off to be able to get some work done on it!

very nice car you have. looks like a good example! Always had a soft spot for cavvy's, wouldn't mind another one myself! not too keen on the alloys though but otherwise very smart

yea i hate the wheels. everyone says that to me... plus they are fubar as well.

its getting some pre-facelift vectra GSi wheels once i've got the 5stud hubs sorted...they should be spot on. Either that or a set of Pro Races...or speedline Mistrals if i can find a set. Not sure that Speedline make 17" Alleiso's.

Alot to sort all at once tbh... but i just gotta prioritise and sort it.

sounds lovely mate . yer i was meanning speedline mistrals (the 17'' ones ) will look spot on when done , are you planning on gettin most dne before pvs ?

dont know...im considering taking it off the road and getting an omega until its sorted to run around in. I want it done proper...i aint gonna get it rushed. doubt i can afford much done before pvs tho tbh. only tidying and getting it running right.

yer true well tbh with a good clean it will look goood , id just try and get new wheels , plus sum1 will by them . ^ pic above 17'' speedlines look spot on

yea i had a feeling that was the case...thats why we aint been. been bad round here and even thinkin of up there makes me hide behind a sofa
