CORSA 1.2 Help Please

Hi Ive a V Reg 1.2 corsa and the engine went kapput. Ive just put a replacement engine in the car and now have more problems.

The car ran but sounded like only running on 3 cylinders.

On inspection its actually only running on 2. I changed the coil pack and plugs and still no change. I have done a compression test and thats all okay too. I have just checked for sparks and only 1 & 2 have a spark - nothing at 3 & 4. The chambers of 1 & 2 are dry and 3 & 4 are wet has any one any ideas - can this be electrical or not - Please I am totally lost...
