new guy liam corsa was saying he get pulled over by police a fair bit, so thought id start a new topic:

ive had a copper pull me over and made me get out the car and put my hands on the bonnet, i made the mistake of saying \'what is this a drugs bust\' and he then searched everything. then let me off??? apparantly i was doing 40 in 30, funny how he didnt give me a ticket???

then another time i got pulled over and the bloke was nice as pie and said he loved modified cars and my wheels

[quote]went for the legal tints cos i get pulled over all the time anyway and i\'d get done straight away if i had them on the front. Last time a copper spent about 30 mins looking around my car trying to find stuff wrong and told me my rear number plate wasn\'t illuminated enough cos i\'ve got 2 blue led\'s lighting it up. Pathetic![quote]

i got pulled cause one of my break lights wasn\'t workin, when tested it, it worked fine he said must be a loose connection and i should get it looked at, but he was such a nice guy he and his mate went round checking all my tyre depth\'s, and even put a device in my exhaust to test something ;) and gave me a breathalizer

that copper that pulled me over went into a bar in wickford (off duty) about a week later, and poked his nose in on someone doing some coke, announced that he was a police officer and that he was under arrest... he promptly got the reply of having a pint glass wrapped round his face, and dont get me wrong i dont agree with that, but he deseved it

oh yeah he also went round my mates house (just as he had gone out) and told his parents he had my friend on film doing doughnuts in a car park, and that they should have a word with him?? he doesnt ever do doughnuts, and even if he did, why go round and see his parents?

sounds like an all round average copper then. Also on the subject of your number plate light, apparently it doesnt matter how good/poo it lights up your number plate, just so long as a light is present.

And whilst we\'re on the subject, i got pulled over for an apparent \'random stop\' then when i started kicking off at the copper cos i always get pulled he said he pulled me cos of my car. So much for random.

Sounds like your average bullied kid at school :x

I can say I\'ve never been pulled over when I haven\'t blatently derserved to, the only time it comes close was some WPc\'s pulled me over cause they couldn\'t keep up with me on a twisty hillclimb bit of road and thought I was trying to get away cause the car came up as no TAX had only just been registered that day, but they were very proffesional about it.
I think they get too much stick for trying ot do their jobs, admittedly matey in quote needs to have his seargant informed of his behaviour, they can get in poo for doing the above kinda of thing.

pulled last night funnily enough

only had it 2 weeks

his comments where \"Debadging you car makes it more steal-able\"

\"Angel lights are dangerous\"

He had a good poke under the bonnet also, my air box has 4 clips, one has snapped off due to a previous owner, \"That really needs replacing its dangerous\"

so tempted to comment \'Yeah well I\'m going to fit an K&N Induction kit next week\'

thought I best not ;)

to be honest people moan about it, i dont mind, nothing to hide, and if someone had stolen my car id liek them to get caught by a random spot check.

i carry all my documents on me, so if i do get pulled and show them, they usually change there attitudes straight away, that copper that went round my mates house- it was years ago, we\'d just started driving, bit nieve, now i look back.
