Ecu Locations on Corsa b models
Caution, Dissconnect battery To Stop shortCircuits Shocks Or trips
Time To Complete:
(sxi) 10 minuites
(none sxi) 2 minuites
Corsa b 16v (sxi)
The Ecu Is On the right hand side of the engine under the hood to the left of the Expantion Tank
Corsa b 8v,12v
The ecu Is in the Drivers Footpanel On the right hand side next to the Accel Pedal
Ecu Removal Help
Corsa b 16v (Sxi)
Drain the Expantion Tank And Remove it from the Car, (2 front hoses) and one at the bottom, Also 2 screws holding it secure behind the tank
You Should see the ecu Its got two Main Pin connectors going into it, unplug these
Now there are three star Screws Two on the top either side and one in the middle at the bottom
Once unscrewed the ecu should pop out with ease
Corsa b 8v,12v
This is Alot more Simple than the Sxi, Simpley Unscrew the Screws on the Panel Next to the accel Pedal (right) And the ecu Is clipped in, unclip , Dissconnect Cables, And Your done
Notes:
1.The Reason For removing the Expantion Tank Is To make it easyer to get to the ecu, you do not have to do this but without this it will be a tight squeeze
2. Its highly unlikley You will get a shock but dissconnect your battery just incase
3.The Guide for the Sxi is 100% correct but I do not own a None Sxi The information on the none sxi Is information i was told, So if its wrong please Leave a comment and ill change it
4.I hope this Tutorial Didnt break any Of corsa-b Rules, Im new to the site and it will be removed it required
Good luck
-Josh
