ive fitted loads of stereos in the past, ive got the speaker adapters for the front doors, and the 6x9s are going in the parcel shelf,my question is will i have to wire the 6x9s directly to the cd player,or is there any existing wires for rear speakers in my car even tho i dont have rear speakers as standard?
i assume if there is wiring there already i would have to get to it from the plastic covers for the rear lights in the boot?
or could i wire them up either way?
Cheers.

Re: cd and speakers
Well my corsa didn't have speakers in the back but the person that had the car before me fitted some in the back. I had a look at the wireing and it looks like there is wires from the boot that you can use. if you take off the panel near the lights in the boot you should see them, if not you may have to wire it up yourself.

Re: cd and speakers
that head unit i bought was crap, seriously, hardley any functions,no outputs for subs or amps and not even a case to put the pop off screen in when u take it out of car!
Sony got that head unit wrong IMO,so i took it back and got the sendai cd889,model.
£20 cheaper, loads more features and functions, outputs for subs/amps,a case to put screen in,remote control, wiring adapter included for my car so i dint need to buy one of those autoleads ones at £15 lol, looks better, sounds better,it even has a flashing red light on it so when the screen is removed it looks like a alarm!
absoulte no regrets about this sendai what so ever,im really shocked with sony!
shows that the best does not have to be well known or expensive!
