any advice!!!
opened up my oil cap earlier and there was a thick brown residue on inside of cap.checked water reservoir and water is clear.any ideas anyone?thanks

could it be head gasket?residue is inside rocker too

they often do it if you only use the car for short journeys, condensation is what causes it, if its got plenty of water and oil in it dont worry about it, just check ya fluids regually like you are suppose to

Short runs cause this as the engine doesn't reach normal operating temperature. Clean the cap and take it for a long run then check the cap again.
