hey all :O i got a hold of a gsi spoiler for £10 only hing is it was black so i sanded it all down primed and painted :O thing is it didnt match my car (flame red ) i used the halfords spray can paint code 79L ? which is my colour code for my car ! how many coats should i have put on i used red primer 3 coats :O then about 3-4 coats of flame red then 3-4 coats of clear coat !! its came out considerably darker cars just been professionally polished !! so the only thing i can think of is halfords paint is poo or i didny give it enough coats !! any ideas or anybody in glasgow willing to do it .. ive looked around on getting it done in a paint shop .. £70 quid for a spoiler ? or 300 for front back bumber , wheel arches door handles boot lock and spoiler [][] couldnt work that out

halfords paint is poo mate.and overpriced poo at that.

should i just sand it down and go at it again with hycote ?

sand it back and start again, get the paint code off your car and get the paint mixed up, so it will deffinatly match

but i dont have a painter or anyhing [] could they get it areosoled up []?

yeah thats woti had done, they can just mix it up in rattle can for ya
