Hi again,

I'm confused about fitting speakers into my car Im getting either Vibe or Fli 17cm componants, but they are both rated at about 80-85W RMS...... But my headunit just says it has 4x 52W outputs? Is that RMS?

And if i fitted these speakers, would it damage them/my headunit?

80-85W RMS is wot the speakers can handle before braking them

and 4x50 is the maximum the headunit can put out. 4 speakers at 50 rms or wot eva it is.

so no i wont damage it at all, it shud be perfectly fine

that headunit output power is max power, not rms - most decent headunits only put out about 30w rms tops. So pretty much them speakers are slightly overkill unless u are amping them. They won't damage anything tho and will still sound gd but to get waht they are capable of u shud get a amp
