Gearbox oil leak??

i was looking under my car the over day and noticed oil dripping off the bottom of the gearbox but only when the engne is hot was wondering if this is a common problem with corsas and is it anything to worry about??

I have the same problem. It's running down the clutch casing. My mate told me it was a seal at the back of the engine somewhere but I have yet to look into it. It isn't a problem unless you are going for mot. Just keep an eye on your oil level.

is the oil red or black? if its red its gearbox oil leaking from somewhere like the gearbox sump or driveshafts seals or if its black and its on the bottom of the gearbox could be crankshaft seal leaking into the belhousing....

its black and its on the bottom of the gearbox :/ how much approx would that cost 2 fix?

gearbox, clutch and flywheel off then a self tapping in the seal to pull it out and the seal shouldnt cost you much more than £15 max from vauxhall dealer....at least a 3 hour job if you know what your doing...
