So i've currently got stock every - stereo and speakers.
The speakers are really poor and i'm on a bit of a budget, so is it worth upgrading the speakers when using the stock stereo?
How much will new speakers improve the sound quality when using the stock stereo?
Thanks

if your on a budget then id say get the speakers first
then your quality will change buy loads, even though they wont be amped it givesa crisp and clear sound
if i was you and you wanted a full system i would go
-6x9s
- door speakers
-amp
-new head unit
-sub
you dont have to amp the 6x9s but to get thier full potential amp them
i just bought some 6x9s and i dont even have a head unit :L

Yea same I would got speakers first... How tight is your tight budget?
Deffo get some 6x9s first... don't agree with insumnier about the order thou...
I think it shud go
6x9
doors
headunit
amp and sub
or even headunit befor the doors speakers... 6x9s are more powerfull than average door speakers so you can shift more sound to the rear.. reducing the work your standard front door speakers have to do.. I did this beFor I fitted my front speakers...You will get a major improvement just with the 6x9s..
you can get some good quality speakers cheap have a shop around halfords can show some speakers working but if you see some you like shop around on prices I got myn cheaper than what halfords wanted for them..
