No memory on cd/radio.

Hi all,

I have an L reg 1.2 corsa B.

It had no stereo in when I bought it, so I managed to get a half decent cd player. I bought an ISO connector off ebay and fitted it, now, when I turn the engine off (so on ignition mark 1) the radio / cd goes off completely and does't come on until you start the car / go to ignition 2 again. Obviously this means it does not memorise your radio settings etc.

Is this due to a faulty/cheapo ISO connector?
And if I bought another one from a more reliable place , would this be sorted?

on the ISO connector there should be a red and a yellow wire, switch these around and it should hold its memory then....

Thanks for the quick reply.....do these just pull off? I can't take a look now till tomorrow due to light, but will update if all works.

yh the red/yellow wires should be on bullet connectors, just swap them over
