I've had my corsa 1.2 16v around 2 months now, and i am not getting the milage i thought i would. Currently with £20 of fuel i am getting 170 miles max, i was expecting around 200 from 20 quid? or is this around normal?

I was thinking if a good service will make any difference in particular putting in a new set of spark plugs and changing the fuel filter?

any feedback welcome

170 from £20 is about average
if petrol is say £1.12 a liter
£20 would get you around 3.92 gallons
works about at about 43.3 mpg

vauxhall official figgures for the 1.2 16v is 44mpg so your pretty much spot on the money
