Stupid Question

Post by Mike_Parr »

Hey, just a quick question, does any Corsa B's have ABS? I know it's probably already been asked, but I want to know for sure.

Thanks for reading,

Mike. :)

Ahh, yeah, I was looking on AutoTrader for one but none of them say they have ABS, i'm not really bothered about it, though. Thanks for the answer :)

Did a bit of research (should of done this originally, lol) and I quote: "Airbags are not standard except on GLS models, although CDX also has a passenger airbag. ABS brakes are optional on most models."

And the trim information:

"Merit has remote-adjustable mirrors, cloth trim; LS has split/fold rear seats, stereo, black side mouldings; GLS has tinted glass, wider wheels, height-adjustable driver’s seat; Flair has wider wheels, sports steering wheel; SRi has rear spoiler, red side strip; GLS 16v has body colour bumpers/ side skirts, alloy wheels, fog lamps. Aug 94 revisions: gas shock absorbers, rear wash/ wipe and stereo on Merit; close-ratio gearbox on 1.2 LS/GLS; 16-valve engine on 1.4i GLS/SRi. 1.4i 16v CDX (Dec 94): alloys, body colour bumpers, elec mirrors, CD player, velour/leather trim. 1.4i 16v Sport: close-ratio gearbox, uprated suspension, rear spoiler. April 97 revisions: restyling, uprated suspension, improved trim; 1.6i 16v Sport, spec as 1.4. 1.4i Cabriolet (May 98) with padded roll cage. 1.2 16v models replaced 8-valve models in Sept 98. Special editions include: 1.2i Merit Swing (April 94): glass sunroof, radio/cassette. 1.2i Merit Breeze (Nov 94): sunroof, tinted glass, radio/cassette. 1.2i Merit Arizona (April 95): tinted glass, sunroof, black wheel arch extensions. 1.2i Merit Twist (June 95): white or blue metallic paint, grey wheel arch extensions. 1.2i Merit Spin (Sept 95). 1.2i/1.4i Merit Montana (Sept 95): sunroof, tinted glass, immobiliser. 1.2i/1.4i Merit Premier (March 96): glass sunroof, black wheel arch extensions, glove box and uprated interior. 1.2i Merit Trip (April 96): white or gold metallic, driving lights, RDS radio. 1.2i/1.4i Merit Vegas (Oct 96), glass sunroof, body colour bumpers, RDS radio, rev counter. 1.0i Sting (April 97), metallic, tinted glass, body colour bumpers, radio/cassette, rev counter. 1.2i/1.4i Merit Breeze (April 97), flame red. 1.0i Merit Trip (Jan 98). 1.0i/1.4i/ 1.7D Merit Breeze (Jan 98), glass sunroof, uprated audio, central locking (from Sept 98). 1.0, 1.2 16v and 1.7D Club (Jan 99), glass sunroof, body colour bumpers, central locking (+ air con option on 1.2 16v). 1.2 16v SXi (Jan 99), red, blue, black or silver, body colour bumpers and rear spoiler, sports seats, sports suspension, alloy wheels; also 1.5 TD SXi (Dec 99). 1.2 .COM (Nov 99), silver metallic paint, special badging and trim. 1.0 12v Expression (August 2000), silver, blue, green, red or white, with budget equipment."

Bit of a read I know, but has some decent information.
