whats involved with blanking off the EGR valve, i'm about to get a manifold that doesnt accomodate the EGR is it just a case of getting a blanking plate? (any ideas where i can get one?) or do i need to get it deleted off the ECU aswell like on my old mk4 astra?

you will need a blanking plate, thats all:



the one of the left is the original the one on the right is a home made blanking plate

i think you can actualy buy these from vauxhall for a few quid.
