Tips/help when buying

Hi all im going to be looking at a few corsa's in the next couple of weeks and i was just wondering if there are any things i should be on the look out for. like rust on the bonnet and just any thing rely!
Any help would be great

hya mate, ive come to find corsas to be abit on the crap side when it comes to rust on the back end, i would check the arches the boot floor and tyre well and under the back bumper. also check the sills, then you just wanna do your basic checks to be honest eg oil for mayo etc. other than that i have never had anything bad to say about them and i have owned 3 lol

hi if your gonna be buying a corsa look at the oil filler cap and look for "mayo" water and oil mixed together, if there is it might be needing a head gasket or ask if its had one recently

most newer versions are ok when it comes to rust and that, mines spotless rele and its a 97,
also that cream stuff is sum times when the oil has bin in to long its common with vauxhalls

yeah i have been looking around the 96 onwards mark, my current car has poo loads of rust and its a big bill to get it sorted! so prity much going to start again but hope fully start the right way lol

you also have to watch out for wheel bearings, and rust round on bonnet and boot what i find annoying lol, good luck with your hunt mate
