1.2 8v sump problem

hi, ive recently tried to take the sump off my car to get a new one but i cant get it off cause the exhaust, and cant seem to get the old gasket off, cant get the manifold off cause bolts are rounded, any ideas people?

have you tried mole grips on the bolts? you can buy gasket scrapers if you wanna buy one or you can use a stanley knife blade but you gotta be really careful that you dont dig into the metal

get a good single hex socket the bolts should come out then if not tap the next size down on ,if you want a new sump i have one nearly new you can have cheap maybe even got a gasket not sure

lincolshire mate ng34 not very heavy item so wont cost a fortune.recantly sent a radio which was heavy to the top of scotland and only cost £6 and that was overnight
