New on here so any info will be much appreciated. Ive got a corsa b 1.2 8v but swapped engine for a 1.6 8v out of an astra. everything works fine but the engine management light is on? why is this & how can i sort it out?

you'll need a computer to read it, and it will tell you whats up with it,
but if it runs fine and that it cant be anthing major, so wudnt worry

Cheers for your reply. Oh it runs fine, never missed a beat. i asked a lad i know about it and he said that wen u swap engines that the light does come on? it wont pass the M.O.T though if the management light is will it? thats the only reason why its bothering me.

remove the bulb for the test for the management light, did u use the astra loom or did u splice them together?

TAke it to local garage mate, they will be able to tell ya any problems and shud be able to clear it so the light doesn't come on... as Far as I'm aware You can't Remove the bulb on the dash cause that is also a Mot fail... Best bet it just to have it checked could be as simple as a faulty connection
