My Corsa 1.2 Merit, and plans!

Heya,

I purchased my Corsa on Tuesday, pretty basic and bog standard 1.2 Merit, N reg.

I only have one picture of it so far, which is a picture from the add. (I will get round to taking some)

Image

I got her for £625, a little rough around the edges, as soon as I got her I gave her a good clean, new mats and new hubcaps as the previous owner has curbed them to buggery, have put in a Cd player and have also had to fit speakers as the car did not have any.

The Plans:
15" black Alloys
Lowered 30mm
Tinted windows
Re-spray (not sure whether to get body coloured bumpers?)
De-badged
Take off stickers
Parcel shelf speakers + Door speakers (Maybe a sub)
Central locking system
Exhaust tip (maybe a bigger back box?)
Air filter
Gsi seats
New gear knob and steering wheel

Now they are my plans, whether it all gets done is another matter lol. It probably will all get done just over a period of time :)

Will do a car shoot soon :)

Thanks for reading, your input welcome!

To be honest I wasn't looking for a white car it just turned up, and thought bargain! I must admit I though oh dear this is going to be pain, but it hasn't been too bad with dirt or marks so far.

And thanks.

Probably the easy bits lol. like de-badging, taking off the crap stickers, exhaust tip, then maybe the seats. Got to save up for things like alloys etc.

Project Cum Bubble...

Hello,

Firstly Apologies for the inappropriate language in the title of this thread :P

My Corsa's official name is now Cum Bubble thanks to my lovely boyfriend naming it!

Now down to business...

Today we started on Project Cum Bubble, therefore I thought it would be good to start the thread...

My Corsa when we bought it:
Image

Firstly we installed some speakers as the car did not have any, we also replaced the radio for a lovely new CD player :) (DO NOT HAVE PICTURES AS WAS A DIFFERENT DAY)

Also we changed the hub caps as the other ones where curbed to buggery! So got some black ones from good old Ebay!

My lovely boyfriend has now debadged the car... Merit off of the sides and Vauxhall off of the back.

SHOULD I GET RID OF THE CORSA 1.2 BADGE? We wasn't sure... What do you think?
Image

Once debadging we decided to have a go at getting rid of the stickers and "Rival" on the sides of my car.... Using a hair dryer!
Image

Once we used the heat from the hairdryer to peel the stickers off we had to clean all of the sticky stuff off... IN ACTION!

The finished product without original stickers and badges...

Image

A slight problem occured when peeling, the front left wing stickers seemed to be scratched in... Idiot whoever did that!!! And left it looking like this...
Image
Image

:( HELP, Any advice on making it looking any better?

David got a bit carried away with Modifying my car and Decided on doing this...

The original Air filter...

Air filter gone...

Oooo Whats this...

car looks tip top for what you paid for it dude. try giving the car a good go over with eighter t-cut or a cutting compound, should get rid of all them marks. id say take the corsa 1.2 off aswell will make the back end look lot cleaner. if your planning on colour coding your bumpers get afacelift front bumper will make the car look alot newer. if your looking for ideas this is the best white corsa ive seen:

Image

also you will find it tricky to lower the car 30mm you mayswell just go for a 40mm kit:)
but looks good..keep us updated

Yes me and my other half see that Corsa on google! We definately agree with you on that one! Yes it will probably be 40ml now after seeing what I want it to end up like! Will definately be getting different bumbers!:)
Wanted to put a badgeless grill on the front but with my bumbers you cannot! How crap!

Will keep all updated.
