Blue headlight bulbs

Can any help me, I was thinking of using some blue headlight bulbs in my corsa but what I would like to know is are they illegal or not

If the light shines blue then yes they are... But you can buy bulbs that have a blue film on them and that is supposed to give you a whiter light instead of the dingy yellow light ya get from normall bulbs... Ask the ppl you buying them from they shud be able to tell you... Another way to tell is packaging shud say not for road use if they not road legal hope this helps...

as said above the blue on the bulb acts as a light filter and filters out the yellowish tint to the light. i got a set of cheap ones of ebay and didnt last at all. i have read that the osram nightbreakers are the best on the market and will be going for them next.

Osram bulbs are good and they last aswell when I changed my headlights I put osrams in and you can easily noticethe difference when driving at nyt.. They also look good looking at te car cause they give the similar effect as the hids and top end bulbs you see in newer high spec cars.. They cost more than standard bulbs but I would recomend them anyday..
