EM light coming on when hot, lacking power

Hi Guys, i'm new on here and wanted some help with my car. It's a 98 1.0l 12v corsa. Its been running fine for about 8 months since i got it but recently the EM light has started coming on but only when the engine is hot and your doing 40mph or more but it only comes on for a couple of seconds and goes off but it keeps doing it. So, i got a mechanic i know to come and put the Tech2 on it, faults were Lambda sensor and MAF and he cleared the codes. a month before, it failed MOT on Lambda sensor and i had a new one fitted and he said the code might be an old one and the garage had not cleared it. Then a couple of days later it started lacking power at all speeds and the light was still coming on but now it comes on at 25mph or over so i went and got a new MAF sensor for £45 and put it on. It has stopped lacking power but still doesn't feel like it used to, holds back ever so slightly and the light still comes on when hot at 25mph or more. I've recently been made redundant and cant afford to be buying parts and the problem still being there, i could swap the MAF and pay another £45 and get the Bosch one for £90 but will i be wasting my money? Sorry for the long post. Thanks in advance.

Just an update.
I got a new Bosch MAF for £90, put it on and it has cured the lack of power put the management light is still coming on when hot doing 25mph or more but it isn't coming on as much. Anyone any ideas?

Cant do it on mine, it's an x10xe. No conector in pin 6 unfortunately.
Going to the garage tommorrow to get it put back on code reader, just sick of spending money on it and problems persist. Last week it came up with Lambda and MAF, changed MAF with a bosch and lacking of power has gone but EM light still on. Had Lambda done on MOT a month ago and that's when this problem started so if it comes up with Lambda tommorrow then it must be this that has caused it in first place because it was fine before MOT. Didn't get my old one back from garage at the time though otherwise i could of tried it back on, i'll have to spend another £60 if it is the problem.

Just another update.
Fitted the Bosch MAF sensor and got codes cleared the management light was still coming on so i went back to the garage and it was just coming up with Lambda sensor, luckily he had a used one which he gave me for free, i just had to swap the plug on the end because it wasn't the same, so i did that and put it on, got the code cleared again and finally it's fixed the problem, no EM light and no lacking power. Charged me a tenner for using code reader 3 times.
Hope this can help anyone with the same problems.
