hey, i think ive blown my amp or sub or something... Anyway i was out with a few mates and decided to get a bit carried away with the bassy tunes and basically my sub just went off. There was no loud pop or anything like that, just went off and the music carried playing through the speakers.
Ive looked on my amp and no lights are on when usually there's a green one, and no sound at all is coming through the sub. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is and a fix? I don't really know what im looking for so any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

probably blown your main fuse if you have one
did you fit the amp yourself? if so did you fit a master fuse on the powercable?
check that mate
ps my amp had 2 additional blade fuses inside the amp its self, check if yours does.

Cheers for the reply... I didnt fit it myself, i had a look before but going to have a proper look in the light tomorrow cause i couldn't see anything, I know theres a little fuse on the back of the amp and a fuse on the big red wire going from my battery to the back of the amp (think thats the power lol) Is it these you mean?? Also when checkin the fuse on the amp, can i just pull it out and put it back in safely or do i need to disconnect everything ?
Finally when looking at the fuse, how do i know if its blown, would it be if the little wires broken, does that mean its blown?
Thanks again

Yeah the power cable is the red one from the battery... check the fuse on that...
and i think you can Just pull the blade fuse out when your cars turned off, and then use either a fuse tester or a multimeter to test it (im not sure if you can see the broken link or not).
