hi , few problems with the handbrake, basically even when its fully ratchet'd, it just does nothing, after looking under the car me dads realised theres alot of play on the cable so it basically just needs adjusting, thing is, we cant find where we can adjust the cable, weve looked under the car , and under the handbrake housing its self inside the car but still cant see it. is it a case of removing the passenger seat and getting the carpet up? or hopefully something much more simple? any help apreciated

you adjust the hand brake above the rear beam axle, you will see 2 cables, one with a long thread on,that is the adjuster, pull up the hand brake 4 notches, pump the brake pedal a few times, then adjust cable till you feel the brake shoe just biting on the drums, tighten the lock nut, that should do you.
