Petrol smell
Hi, had my cors a few months now and every now and again i get a smell of petrol inside the car. I have checked the puel pump and no leaks there and have also just yesterday serviced the car so changed the fuel filter. But this morning the smell has come back into the car? Im guessing it could be a loose join in the fuel line? Or is there anything else this could be. Any help much appreciated.

My mate had the same problem with his corsa, turned out it was due to a hole in his exhaust.. He also noticed that his fuel consumption was wank it drank fuel like i do beer...

Re: Petrol smell
I had this problem from mine.....twice! Exhaust first time so I got a stainless system fitted and no more fuel smell! Then about two weeks ago the smell came back and it was injector-related. Changed the injectors and no more fuel smell! I dont know if thats anything to do with yours but it may be worth having a look at them.
I wish my car was alot faster ..........
