Cutting Standard Front springs

Hey
sorry if this is in the wrong section or has already been posted, i have searched and couldnt find anything
i was thinking of cutting down my front standard springs is there any set backs that i need to be aware of,
any help would be appreciated,

this is how she's sitting atm, i want her alot lower on the front shes sitting of standard front, -40mm rear,

Apart from completly ruining the handling of your car and killing your dampers, ruining your tyres not to mention being an MOT fail aswell
id always reccomend getting some shorter springs, cant be more than £45 off ebay for a 40mm-60mm drop but anyway
if you REALLY wanna do it, make sure you use spring compressors to remove the springs from the damper, or you will probably end up in hospital

Just to let you know, on them steelies ur braking and turning in the wet will be horrible, nothing but lock ups and understeering when you lower it without the shocks to go with..

i had mine lowered on steelies and it handles really well..and i used to rally it flat out
