BAD POINTS

car has had replacement engine , at the moment the car starts and then dies after a few seconds ( maybe fuel pump not sure )
has little bits of rust in random places ( mainly at bottom of doors but covers by stripes )
also NO TAX OR MOT as its sorn

other than that the car has never let me down ... should fly through MOT.

GOOD POINTS.

engine bin fitted had 57000 miles onit with proven paperwork
brand new clutch fitted
and will have brand new battery.


depending how long it takes me to get a job it will eighter be sold fully working if i can get the small amount of money to fix it if not then it will be sold as non running.

only selling as been offered a bargain of a new car from my grandad so i shall be passing this beut to sum1 else .

headgasket went onit mate.. but got offered that engine for cheap as mate written his car off. so seemed good thing to do cuz needed new clutch anyways.

tbh mate i really dnt wanna sell it, but id rather sell it to someone that will be able fix it and give it some tlc rather than be stood on my drive. but ideally wanna sell it to a member on here so can still see how it is.

p.s just nipped out and took pic of tailgate. the spoiler is the car and the old tailgate it in garage . sorry its a bit dirty but no point cleaning when it aint going anywere lol

I bet it won't start because the you left the ECU that the new engine came with on the new engine. Put your old ECU off the old engine and onto the new engine.

Is the ECU light flashing when starting and when it dies stright after starting? If so the problem will be the immobilizer isn't been disabled because the ECU is now differently mattched to your key chips which belong to your old ECU.

if the chips in the keys didnt match i wouldnt of thought the car would of even started thought that was what an immobaliser was ment to do ?
