The Paperclip Test

Ok first off, i've had a look at the topic in the FAQ section about doing the paperclip test ( http://forums.corsa-b.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=105&t=11231 ) and ive noticed it says this:

Bear in mind this test wont work on x10xe and x12xe engines (1.0i 12v and 1.2 16v)

I dont suppose anyone can tell me if there is a way to do it on a x12xe engine without having to take it to the garage? It isnt a money problem, its just a time problem and i like to do things myself

you cant sadly, unless you buy a tech 2 diagnostic code reader or somthing simmler
