Digi dash in c20xe corsa

Hi there needing a bit of help .. I bought a corsa with a c20xe a few weeks ago . It has a astra gte digi dash in it but its way out, it says i am doing 70 mph when im doing 30 i have been reading about this dash and it seems i need a transducer . though in one forum a user says that there are three or four different transducers .. if anybody could help me with this it would be great

basicly the transducer is located on the gear box right next to the gear linkage, check all the connections.
next there is a little red switch on top of the digi dash try putting it in the opposite possition to what it already is. some model digi dash's hav 2 switches (u have to take the dash out to get to it)

u shud hav got the transuducer and the dash out of the same car but.................u can get a newer elecronic transducer to work (although i've duno if it will work in a c20xe)

the top ones an older anologoe (its missing a white gear that goes in to the gearbox)
the bottom one is a newer electroic one.
wen i did my dash i used the electronic one, but mines only a 1.2 and i dont kno if it will work in a c20xe


get one from a scrappy and try it.

there simple to wire in, only 3 wires to connect up and a 10mm bolt then ur sorted.

also is it set on mph and not kph as that seems a long way out

It was already in the car when i got it so i cant tell what it was out of think its worth my wile getting one of these electronic ones and giving it a bash or will it be a waste of time ??

Yeh thats the first thing i did but then it jumps up to 110 or something

i reckon its deffinatly worth a go, just pinch one out of a corsa from a scrappy, its only a few wires to cut and a 10mm bolt
