You wont need his bumpers mate, you can use the ones you already have. Just tape up the top section of yours, sand the bottom half down, prime them, sand again and paint. i'd say it'll cost you about 20 quid for all the paint and primer etc. Looks a nice base man, I would love a white one.

i know but i think the facelift ones look better and im going fully white, so not sure what to do to be honest, i got it for nothing off my girlfriends auntie, they were going to scrap it but i got it and done 2 wheel bearings, ball joint, anti roll bar bushes, wipers, and just need to fix sump and service it and itl be a beast once again :L

front one isnt so was just gna change all the bumpers, already took the interior out my brers one lol, is it easy to get bumpers off?

both front and back bumpers shown on the car in the pics are post97 bumpers ( facelift )

yeah that looks amazing lol, how did you get the white bits inside painted? and so would i just be able to paint the bumpers white? i want them complelty white though, and i want they alloys you have lol, im currently in the middle of changing my interior, was it easy to paint the mirrors and door handles? and remove the wiper? was your just the 1.2 8v aswell? looks really nice though mate

just took them out the car and painted them myself,must be a guide on here lol.and yeh can paint the bumpers you have with no probz,jus get proper plastic primer.its all pretty simple stuff,im jus crap at explaininglol. there just astra sport wheels painted white. yeh mine was like yours when i got it but had the old bumpers on.

cool lol, the only proper i have is with gettin the heater bits out cause one of mine is broken, tried a test run of taking the centre bit out with all the controls and it wouldnt come away its self it had the back bit connected still :S

some new pics
since i last posted i have -
put a glove box in, added the electrical thingy on the dash, got my interior in, just need my bolts for the front seats what im getting on tuesday or wednesday from vauxhall for 71p each which is no bad, got my old cd player in just for now cause the face doesnt stay up so have to use celotape lol,
need to do -
get bolts for seats,
get a new back seatrest cause i broke mine wi a hammer cause it was doing my head in,
paint dash bits,
get alloys,
fix my sump,
service it,
get a new instrument cluster with rev counter,
get bumpers/arches off smooth the line bits off and paint white
de-wiper and smooth the hole,
paint the boot bit,
paint handles and mirrors,
get new cd player,
get 6x9's,
get sub n amp,
upgrade the door speakers,
lower it either 40 or 60mm,
upgrade the anti roll bar bushes,
get front strut brace,
get induction kit,
collect exhaust from my uncle,
tint windows,
bad boy bonnet, want one like corsaboi1992s one,
respray the car in white,
cant think of anything else lol,
paint my battery tray cause its rusty lol,
my engine so far, nothing special but will look awryt when done,
the state of the ball joint that came off my car
when i get it back in my drive
dash done so far
what i got done today on the dash
the temp bit dont work anyone know why it wouldnt be working?

try the temp sender first its just behind the front grill, pinch one from a scrappy and see if it makes any difference.

im at college doing mechanics on 2nd year but still no got a clue :L
