my red redtop

Post by DHayess »

This is my corsa .. im 19 years old and not passed my test yet but its all booked up .I was looking for a corsa b for my first car.
I done alot of looking and wasnt really botherd about the engine size tho i had my eye on a few 1.4 sports and 1.6 sports because i'd prefer something faster than a 1.2.. then my friend got a redtop ..
and from then on i started looking at c20xe corsa's . i looked about for a few months . wasnt alot for sale in scotland so it took me a wile .. and i didnt want to do the conversion my self because i just dont have the time atm plus im not exactly a car genius

so i met a guy in hamilton . and bought this the next week :)
I have had it for about 3 and a half weeks .. i got the mot renewed by a freinds dad and i have sprayed these wheels again tho i am looking for slabs or fans just now ..
im planning on putting every penny i have into the car so it should be looking good soon .

Here's a few pics . sorry about the quality the iPhone camera is crap . i have a friend who is a photographer so il get a few better pics soon :D

i know most of you's wont agree with this but its still logged on as a 1.2 8v . i want to log it on as a 2.0 but theres no way i can afford it so im going to keep it as a 1.2
its quite scummy and if i was the person that i bumped in to i wouldnt be happy . but hopefully that doest happen :)

so your 19 with a corsa redtop, dnt really agree with that but its upto you, maybe you will regret it if you ever crash (wich may happen with such a fast car and little experience), however on another note it is a nice looking car.

looks nice mate, put a sports grill on it, and a gsi spoiler and will look a million times better, im 17 not passed my test you but if i had the money i would of been passed by now, anyway ive got a white 1.2 8v its in the project logs and its completly standard atm and cheapest i got was 2500 fully comp, so its gna be dear if you had it logged as 2.0 would be better to have it booked as 2.0 though just incase you crash mate

I've been driving for a few years and I have drove cars that are just as fast as the corsa so I should be ok, but your right . I will regret it if I ever crash but lets hope it doesn't come to that lol

i just had a quote for my corsa redtop running standard 150bhp ish and that was third part fire and theft with adrian flux declaring that it was lowered and non standard exhaust and alloys and that was £1200, and im only 20, which i thought was really good value.
