New Track Toy Project

Hey Guys & Girls.....Just purchased my 1st ever B! currently it has a 1.6 sport engine. The car is purley going to be used for the track as i live near knockhill (scotland)
Its Got Already
*Full Stainless Exhaust system
*DBilas Inlet!
*Cav Slabs
*Lowered
*Sport interior (which will be for sale shortly!)
*Stripped out rear interior!
so Far i have and still need to fit
*2 x Bucket Seats
*2 x Harnesess
*4 x Toyo R888 tyres for the extra traction on track!
* A C20XE Redtop with all conversion parts! this will be going in within the next 2 weeks!
* Spare set of cav slabs with toyo proxes t1r's (for the wet)
To Get
*Roll Cage
*Some Gauges (Rev Counter, Oil Temp)
*Re-located Alloy Fuel tank
My 1st event is not until 6th may so hoping to have most of the above done by then
will keep this updated!

Yeh I am gonna consider making it road legal aswell once the redtop is in....it will be getting kept in good nick tho so i may return it to the road at a later date
How do i go about getting throttle boddies? where they sold from? anyone know?

sign up to mig perfomence vauxhall. (another vauxhall forum, but its huge and there always on there) but also keep an eye out on ebay.

small update.
1.6 engine is out and just waiting on the custom mounts arriving so the redtop can go in. also got some kent cams for it so that should make a nice difference along with the de-cat pipe
Dbilas Inlet manifold for sale if anyone interested? allows a hell of alot more air in u can actually hear the difference when its running! will fit 1.4 16v or 1.6 16v engine had it on my 1.6 sport and before that it was on a 1.4 sport so will definatly fit both of them. make me an offer if interested its ready to be posted.

yeah can get some pics taken tommorow nite will put them up when there taken. still finishing off the engine conversion but almost there just need a new loom as the one i was sold with the engine was a dud! wasnt best pleased! once it arrives the engine will be running as its all that is required the rest is done! i must say if anyone is thinking about doing the conversion go for it as it has been very easy to do. i was abit worries about doing it as i had never done one but it was very simple to do!

well it looks like cypress green, but they only did that in 99/2000 and thats an r reg so cant be than lol
