engine management light

hello again peeps, my t reg 1LTR poo corsa b has the engine light on intermittently and kind of hesitates on throttle, ive changed maf, crank and lambda now thinking it may be the air idle speed unit, the car doesnt stop (which is a nice change, cos ide have been better off with a hoop and a stick than this car)
anyone had similar problems, also cant do paperclip test on 1ltr, help would be very appreciated as you lot have been helpful in the past and saved me coin.
Also my girlfriend loves Lambrini and sends me to buy it from the local shop, but apparently its a gays drink and everytime i explain to the till girl that its not for me, she looks at me with a false smile! any ideas?

1st tell your mrs to buy her own alcohol..
2nd try cleaning the idle control valve, (guide in FAQ section)

might be worth while getting it on a diagnotic to find the exact problem since you cant do the paperclip test
you could spend a small fortune replacing the sensors n various bits and bats before solving it.
