Hi all,

Could anyone advise me on which models came with power steering? Or was it all after a specific year?

i know a 1999 corsa CLUB has it and its not actually power steering int electronic theres a motor on the steering coloum (i think)
apparently its not that hard to change over if you was thinking of doing it. at least theres no fluid or any thing
i think like the corsa sports did have proper power steering tho but not to sure as i havent owned one im sure octane will tell you or matty on here there very knowlegeble about these things

my 2000 X reg 1.2 12v had the electronic power steering aswell - confused me for a while since the steering was soo light but nothing for the power steering was under the bonnet only noticed the EPS light on the dashboard and had a quick look in the handbook

i belive anything from the Envoy upwads has powersteering
so that would be:
Envoy, Expression, Breeze, Club, .com, GLS, CDX, Sport, SXI, SRI and the GSI
that said, im not sure if it was avalable as an option.
smaller engined corsa's has electronic powesteering (with an electric motor) while the bigger engined ones had hydraulic powesteering.

not necessarily true, i had a corsa SRI and that didn't have power steering at all.

really? top of the range and didnt have powersteering? lol
suppose its vauxhall cheaping out for ya, or as said maybe it was an optional extra!

I think all the diesels had power steering too. Mines a basic LS model and it has it, so i presume the diesles had it due to the weight of the engines

My mate used to have an l reg 1.5td which didn't have pas

and my mates got a crappy 1.0 corsa and thats got electronic power steering,

lol tbh mine hasnt got power steering but yet its really light of the steering!! its like its actually got it lol
