whats it like to do a clutch on a 1.4 on the driveway?

easy enough job if you have a pair of axle stands and a fair toolkit , there is nothing really complicated about changing a corsa clutch as long as you can get the driveshafts out of the box and have the means to support the engine then there isnt that much to do .have a read of a haynes manual if you are unsure of anything

what do u mean . " means to support the engine " ??

well its like this if you dont support the engine when you take off the two gearbox mounts you are only left with one mount on the timing belt end and there is a pretty good chance the whole lot will drop out of the bottom of your car and end up on the floor :shock:

i started at half 10.. and gave up at 6 .. i havent got the clutch alignment tool.. couldnt drop the box out so been a guess game where to line it up.. tryed to get the gear box on for 3 hours and gave up just wernt having it at all so pissed off with it should of never of started it on my drive!!
