Ends up the head gaskets on its way out it needs a vic check and theres 2 holes that need welding together i need suggestions on what to do pay to get it fixed or buy a new corsa and put parts onto that one?

Got to agree. Atleast complain to Autotrader since it was a blatent misselling of the car.
Are you sure it doesn't have power steering? it might have EPS (the electronic version - can tell by the EPS on the dash) but the fact it needs welding and a new head gasket is bad enough. But the fact it needs a VIC check means it was a cat C insurance write-off so i think the best thing to do would be to get i checked out to make sure it hasn't just been thrown together with disregard to safety. Try and find out why it was wrote off in the first place.

Is there any mot on this car? Did you get the log book with it?
First off as already suggested, get on to Auto Trader straight away, did the advert mention that it was a class c write off?
Secondly, get onto the phone with the sod who sold you this car, and tell him that you have contacted Auto Trader, and that you are about to contact the DVLA about the car. Ask for your money back in full, otherwise you will pursue all course open to you to have him done for misleading info.and misrepresentation on a car in order to get a sale.
The next time you go for a car, take a mate who knows something about them, or contact one of the guys on here who live near you. I am sure they would only be to pleased to help you.

agreed with what everyone is saying mate
if someone sells you something in a shop, a tele for example and they give you incorrect info you are legally entitled to a full refund as its a mis represented sale....same with absolutely anything no matter how big or small the item is. same on ebay with second hand goods, same on car boots aswell!
there is just no need for people like that to be allwoed to carry on selling dodgey motors like that, its not fair on anyone
Trading standards or citizens advice really helped me out when i brought a messed up punto (
i know! ) to get a refund and get the seller banned

Why didn't you check these things when test driving the car/looking at it?
If anything I'd go back to his house and kick up a fuss , demand a refund or you'll take it to a small claims court.
