i debadged the back of the corsa the other day and it looks great

i then started de rub stripping it, but the paint underneath them, is a competely different color. Its still red, but it seems a slightly different shade.

When i did the badges it was different as the paint around them had faded, after a lot of t cutting it looked fine, but it dont work on the rub strips :S

any advice?

keep scrubbing at them is the only option!! get the T-cut out and hope for the best, orrrr if they're the small bump strips sand them down and spray them red and then get some SRI badges aswell and turn your car into a SRI replica, thats if you dont like the faded paint of course.

if its done what it did to me, it has taken off the clear laqure. only way to fix is ''try'' and reapaint the areas. or colour code the rubstrips and put them bk on.
