gearbox seized f20

hi guys jsut had a new clutch in my c20xe and now the car seems stuck in gear, i got told to reline the gears so me and a mate tried that but we cuddnt move the selector its like somethings jammed in the box. inside the car its neutral and it will go into 5 but nothing else is the box siezed any ideas, cheers for looking
