Just got a corsa b Sport.... Needs couple of things done to it. (i hope) Just wondering if theyre expensive and big jobs?
It needs a thrust bearing and a idle control sensor.
Are these hard to do? I know nowt about cars like lol but they are fairly annoying problems

Icv valve, or idle control sensor is on the throttle body, not a big job, but a bit fiddly. The thrust bearing is another matter, you have to take the gearbox out to replace it. Idle control valve is not too expensive, search on ebay for both items you are looking for. Suggest you first buy a Haynes manual, not sure if they do a specific one on the corsa sport but have a good look before you buy. Get yourself aquainted with all that you are going to do entails, the tools you will need, and you will need tools for later on for this and other cars.
Garages should be the last, very last place on earth that you deal with, they are very expensive, and some can be right greedy.
If they smell a newbie to cars, engines, etc. some will take the p*ss, others will come back just to screw more money out of you. So get the manual and learn for yourself, it is the only way to rock, man!
