i got a set of calibra dials and im thinkin of swappin the needles over, cuz the calibra ones are clear plastic and look sick with the blue LEDs behind um, plus im upgrading my dials to plasma, anyone ever swapped there needles for any others? just wondering if they will work, cant see why not as long as there not too long or short?

piece of piss mate, theirs 3 or 4 screws to hold the surround around the steering column, then three screws that hold the plastic surround around the dials, then when thats out the way, theirs just two screws and two clips that hold the dials in place, and depending if yours is cable driven then its got a speedo clip on the back of it aswell.

oh also, when you got the corsa dials apart, slowly prise the speedo needle up and over its bottom stop and then wait until the spring settles, then when it does settle mark that point with a small dot from a pen, then when you pull the needle off you have a reference as to where to put the new needle back on to so as that when its the other side of the stop it will be reading the right speed again,

yea your on the right lines mate
orr what you can do is do what i did and plug the dash in without its cover on so you can still move the needle then drive through those flashy speed things and when your doing 30 mph say, push the needle on so it reads 30 LOL i had to do this with one set of dials i had but then i managed to get hold of another set with white dials on and they were set up propperly so yea,
