i have a buzzing noise coming from the engine area at 2,800 to 3.000 rpm in all gears and idle. its a 1.2 corsa c, does anybody know what it could be?

does it only do it between 2800 n 3000rpm or does it start at them revs n stay when revving higher?

only at them rev's. does it at idle cos went to the vauxhall garage and they said try it when at set lights as it could be the exhaust but its sounding from the bonnet area. its annoying cos i cant stay at 30mph becouse of it so i have to go like 33 to 35mph
