yh it can be done but to run a xe on a small block gearbox you have to change the flywheel as a xe is a big block engine, i personally wouldnt bother because it wont last 5 minutes if you drive a xe like your suppose to  i would go down the f16,f18,f20 route on a xe or a f20, f28 on a turbo, but prefrably a f28 on a turbo as thats gearbox was designed for that engine and can handle the power, this really isnt the forum to be asking questions like that as there are not many people on here who know about it, migweb is your best bet really.

on the driveshafts side of things you could use the proper conversion shafts which are ready available on migweb or ebay with conversion hubs or do as i am and use a calibra/cavalier drivers side equal length shaft and a short shaft from a cavalier/vectra/calibra and move the circlips in 5mm either side and big block hubs :D

all these questions can be answered if you use the search bar on google or migweb, migweb has an answer to nearly every vauxhall related thing you can think of

driveshafts

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-CORSA-AN ... 3599e1fd91

conversion hubs

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-NOVA-COR ... 2559dd9697

but to be quite honest you only need to buy the hubs as calibra/cavalier shafts are cheap enough

there are some on this list on migweb

hmm, well dont really mind , um but obvs it will be cheaper buying a kit with the shafts in and hubs, over buying seperate yeah?

um it has a 1.4 16v sport, not to sure on the powersteering

its easier for me to tell you which body type it is if i can see a picture of the drivers side front engine mount, but my guess would be a body type 2, have a look at my build thread on here or migweb and see if yours is the same as mine

link to it on migweb
