tca / ie bar lowering

just been thinking, you know you have to lower the front track controll arms if your fitting a F28 gearbox yea, and also if you fit a c20xe to stop the front end from pulling up, but if you fitted them to a 1,2 or 1,4 or 1,6 this would do the same thing wouldnt it? as in make the suspension harder.
just something i was thinking about thats all,

the reason for lowering on an xe is because the exhaust hits the antiroll bar no other reason for doing it

they say it stops lift up during acceleration aswell i thought

no mate it litrally is just for the zaust pipe to stop it hitting.
have you already fitted your xe mate ? if so which mounting holes did you go for on the front of your engine block ? bottom set directly above sump or the ones just above that ?

the top ones are for the mount the bottom ones are for the power steering mount if used

yea go for the top ones mate, i did exactly the same thing haha i was like wtf theirs no way this engine mount is ever going to fit, and then oh poo yea im on hte wrong ones

ahhh i was confused coz some guy on migweb had fitted them to the bottom ones hahaha never mind thanks guys ... much appreciated and sorry for the hijack
