what causes oil in the inlet system? its making my car run very lumpy on tickover and smoking a tad, could there be too much oil in and its burning it off?

most likely cause is either two much oil in the engine or a blocked breather ,leaking valve stem seals will cause it to smoke on the overrun but wont cause oil in the inlet

found a split in a hose that goes into like a little box on the right hand side of the engine with a red plug something to do with the fuel i believe? maybe solved the problem now? will try later battery on charge, heads been rebuilt with big valves etc so completely new so its gotta be something to do with a air leek i presume, no management light, only occasionaly when revs drop lol but thats when its burning the oil so thatl be o2 sensor clears when revved a tad :D
