Passed my test, bought my sister's car off her for £250, she renewed her insurance (with diamond, LOL) so that was pretty cheap too
no dents, a few scratches, 1.2L 1996.



debadged and smoked the rear lights earlier, will get some pics up soon

plans:
tint the back 3 windows
new head unit
sub and amp
lower it
de-wiper the rear?
spray the ugly as fabric black
smoked front lights - legal?
smoked side repeaters - legal?
either: paint it matte black
or get some silver touch up paint and go over all the scratches - where do i find the right paint colour?!

get rid of the rubber side strips?

there's also a bit of a problem with the gears. someone said there's a problem with the gates on it. basically, to get it into first, i have to pull the little thing up that is usually used to get it into reverse, find 2nd gear, let the thing go, and push it into 1st - as you can imagine, causes a bit of inconvenience, so getting that fixed would be REALLY GOOD.

i'm pretty useless when it comes to cars and stuff, all i know is how to drive them, and only just managed to disconnect the lights to spray them earlier haha, so all help would be very appreciated

i'm not looking to get a body kit or anything, tbh anything more than what i've listed above and it just wouldn't be worth the car i'm putting the money into.

also thinking about getting some lights in the floor wells and spraying the console

pm adam or kie think they've had problems with theres and they kno how to re-align them.

the plans sound good thou.

tinting the front lights is legal as long as you dont go too dark, look in to depo headlights they look awsome and are 100% legal. search it theres a guide.

tinting the indecators is legal again, but i wud keep the orange bulbs just to be sure.

personally i wud also stick a spoiler on it to get rid of the rounded arse on it.

went round a friends earlier and followed his really good idiot-friendly instructions
no more gear problems!
installed the tints yesterday, 2 side ones are okay, the back one is awful though, any advice on how to do the back one more successfully?
i was considering taking the back window our, and then spraying it with the same spray used to smoke backlights? put it on the outside and could just use paint thinner if i ever needed to take it off?
what do you all think?
